Description Black Iron Oxide is a black powder. It is sometimes used in thermite however thermite produced using black iron oxide is less powerful than thermite that uses red iron oxide. It is also a catalyst and can be used in R-Candy. It is magnetic.
Hazards It is a skin and eye irritant and gloves and eye protection should be warn when handling.
